Both Larry Bodie, Claris Networks’s CEO, and Dave Sagraves, Vice President, have been appointed to the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence 2014 Board of Examiners. If you’ve never heard of the TNCPE, it’s worth your time.
What is the TNCPE?
The TNCPE promotes “economic development and drive organizational excellence by helping companies and organizations grow more competitive in today’s global marketplace through affordable, in-depth assessments.”
Claris has engaged the TNCPE to evaluate our company from the inside out. As a result, they provide us with actionable steps and valuable high-level feedback to improve our performance and achieve sustainable results. As Examiners, Dave and Larry will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating organizations that apply for the TNCPE Award.
Each year, the TNCPE award program recognizes local, regional, and statewide organizations that demonstrate excellence in business operations and results. The foundation of the program and its company assessments are the “Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence.” The ultimate award is the prestigious Baldrige National Quality Award, which is given by the President of the United States once per year to companies in one of several verticals. Some previous winners from Tennessee are Caterpillar Financial Services, Pal’s Sudden Service, Eastman Chemical Company, and Federal Express.
