We are proud to announce that the winner of the Nashville Cloud Giveaway is Operation Stand Down Nashville!
For the past three months, the community has been spreading the word about 10 fantastic non-profits, working to help them win three years, up to $200,000, of cloud computing and IT services from Claris Networks. Operation Stand Down Nashville raised the most votes, making it the winner.
Monday of this week, Veteran’s Day in fact, we visited Operation Stand Down’s office to present them with $200,000 in technology services to help them fulfill their mission.
Operation Stand Down’s mission is to help veterans in the Nashville area become self-sustaining, better connected to the community, and empowered to achieve their American Dream. Especially in light of Veterans’ day this week, it is a great privilege for us to invest in our community this way, and we look forward to a great partnership with OSDN.
For the next three years, the 35 employees at Operation Stand Down Nashville will enjoy a state-of-the-art cloud computing IT infrastructure at no cost. In addition to a comprehensive network overhaul, Claris Networks will be supporting the organization’s end users with ongoing computer support so that we will essentially become their in-house IT department. When something breaks, we will fix it.
The goal in donating these services to OSDN is to extend this donation to benefit the greater Nashville community. By investing in OSDN, Claris Networks is able to directly benefit this city’s veterans and their families in a very tangible way. The funds that would otherwise have gone to maintain technology can now go directly to help our veterans.
